We also offer an annual service program for monuments we have cleaned and restored.
Are your cleaning methods safe for all monument materials?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on using only cleaning solutions and tools that are certified safe by leading restoration organizations. Our methods are gentle yet effective, designed to restore your monument's beauty without causing any damage to its delicate surface or integrity.
Are the results immediate?
That is an excellent question. While each monument will display noticeable improvement immediately after cleaning, the optimal results for certain materials and treatments may develop more gradually over a period of 7–30 days as the cleaning agents continue to work.
Can't I just use household products and clean it myself?
You can certainly clean your loved ones' monuments. But please, use the correct cleaning processes, agents, and tools. Householder cleaners, bleach, ammonia, and even vinegar mixtures can damage the stone, causing erosion, discoloration, or etching.
Won't a pressure washer clean it up nicely?
A pressure washer may remove surface dirt and debris, but it may also dislodge portions of the monument, etch the lettering or design, and compromise the integrity of the stone. There is no short cut to proper care for a monument. Mountain Monument Services will never use high pressure cleaning on any monument.
